Yung Glas
Working with young talent from Bern has been one of my favorite projects so far Honestly, during my first video shoot with Yung Glas, I had no idea what I was doing. The video for 'I Hou' was shot on a Sony FX6, and I was unfamiliar with operating such a high-end camera. At that time, I didn't even know that Sony cameras shoot in S-Log, and that I needed to convert the color space for the footage to look proper. I've learned a lot since then. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to use the FX6 again with the film team at Swisscom, where I learned how to operate semi-professional cinema cameras and how to properly handle the footage.

As my first project involving direct client interaction, this was a very positive experience. Having direct contact with the client allowed me to act as my own manager. The client was highly cooperative and accommodating of my limited experience, making it an overall excellent experience! Handling every aspect of this project, from billing to stakeholder meetings, was an invaluable experience for me. The client's eagerness to collaborate fostered excellent communication, which was crucial for the project's success. It was my first time logging my hours and creating spreadsheets to calculate my rates, teaching me essential skills for working directly with clients. I can now directly benefit from these experiences!
